Bombs: Nigerian Security Chiefs in Panic

President Goodluck Jonathan held a meeting with the heads of all the major security agencies in Nigeria namely the IGP Inspector- General of police, the Director-General of the state Security service and the National Security Adviser.
The president who refused to be genial as usual expressed his disappointment with "much anger" over the security situation in the country, probably making the security chiefs to become jittery with the thoughts of being fired if they fail to "deliver”. a source said
President Goodluck Jonathan blamed the rising incidents of bombing across the country on a failure on the part of the security chiefs and their institutions.
The security Chiefs were ordered to fish out the perpetrators of the serial bombings and to give the federal Bureau of Investigation FBI their full co operation.
The president is clearly not happy with the security issues in the country, the security chiefs and their subordinates. The security chiefs were warned against inter-agency rivalry that could hamper investigations into the Boko Haram activities in Nigeria, Which claimed responsibility for the recent bombing of the UN office in Abuja Nigeria.
A top security chief who pleaded anonymity said it is not true that the FBI has taken over investigation-he said the Nigerian security agencies will carry out the field work while the FBI handles the technical aspects.
